Katherine "KB" Bateman
KB is an active marketing advisor for us. KB's background is as a marketer, as she was the CMO for Buddy Media, which sold to Salesforce for $800m+. KB currently lives in California, has two beautiful children in college, loves a good glass of wine, and joins us for our weekly standups on Monday mornings.
Nathaniel "Nate" Cohen
Nate is our CTO and co-founder. Prior to co-founding Grapevine AI, Nate had been part of two acquisitions. He holds degrees from EPFL (BSc), Technion (MSc), and MIT (MBA) and is the tallest one on the team — he's a whopping 6'4. Nate loves skiing, a great bottle of wine, and travelling.
Nastaran Khalli
Nastaran is our NLP Engineer. Nastaran's background is in industrial and systems engineering. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at FDA for a year before joining Riley. She holds degrees from Virginia Tech (PhD and MSc) and BSc from Sharif University of Technology. She lives with her husband Farshad and is passionate about her country, Iran. She loves hanging out with friends, hiking, travel, and especially trips to Universal Studios in Orlando!
Andrew Reiner
Andrew is our CEO and co-founder. Prior to co-founding Grapevine AI, Andrew spent time building startups, in investment banking at a bulge bracket firm, in quantitative research at a $4.5b hedge fund, and as a mentor for other startups. Andrew is a die-hard Mets fan, a drinker of the fanciest beers such as Bud Light and Coors Light, has two kids, and is the proud owner of Nike, our mascot.
Eli Szus
Eli is our director of front-end engineering. Eli has 15 years of software development experience, is a Tiny 4.0 Fellow, and prior to joining us Eli was CTO and co-founder for a TechStars funded startup. Eli is an avid traveler, hiker, and rum aficionada. He is extremely passionate about all aspects of his life, and is a tremendous member of any community he joins.
Francisco "Fran" Florentin
Fran is part of the front-end engineering team. Fran is from Santa Fe, Argentina. He studied software engineering and has been dedicated to software programming for 3 years. Fran plays in an ultimate frisbee team from Santa Fe, he enjoys playing sports and going to see movies at the cinema.
Julia Vallejos
Julia works on Riley's frontend team. She lives in Santo Tome, Argentina, near Santa Fe. She studied Mechatronics, and worked for a year at a tool factory. She discovered her interest in programming during the recent pandemic and is eager to expand her skillset - something she is doing quickly at Riley. She has played the violin since she was a child, plays multiple genres, and has performed live lots of times! She enjoys spending time with friends and walking outdoors.
